The Edit Foundation (TEF) is an international non-religious, non-political, and nonprofit organization that provides education and empowerment to children, women and seniors through safe and secure programs and services. The Edit Foundation will be located both in Michigan, United States and Chennai, India with satellite centers across the world. The Foundation will function entirely through the efforts of volunteers, sponsors, donors, and a global Visionary team.
To serve and positively impact, promote, and protect the dignity, respect, and humanity of people everywhere by empowering individuals with sustainable resources and tools.
Educate: Education unlocks the door to greater potential and allows individuals to make good decisions, with respect and dignity that lead to a brighter future for all of humankind.
Empower: Lead by example and empower oneself with real world experiences, stories and workshops that promotes learning and living. Get our hands dirty and show the world how it’s done.
Enrich: Celebrate differences and embrace oneness – of mind, thought and action by providing resources and tools to enhance the quality of life around the world.
All funds received go 100% directly to the project. All members of The Edit Foundation are volunteers. All grants received from the government go toward maintaining and sustaining the programs for furthering the objectives and the mission of The Edit Foundation. Having been in the community service dimension for the past four decades, part of several organizations and initiatives as volunteers and leaders, we have realized that the real need, the essence of solving an issue is core to an organization. The people and the cause can always be lost owing to several distractions - lack of funding, changing needs, differing perspectives, politics, and priorities. At Edit, the cause is the only identifier. The cause surpasses all the distractions.
The Edit Foundation is a carefully drawn-out divine calling based on our learnings and experiences, working at the grassroots level – tackling issues around abuse, disparities, violence, trafficking, and empowerment. The mission to us is simple – to provide and educate individuals who are in vulnerable situations owing to the crisis that is unpredictable and can dawn on anyone, anytime, anywhere.
We strongly believe that "giving up" has never been an option. Life is all about the ability to get up from challenges. Greatness is defined as getting up one more time than what you have fallen. That is a success. It is about perseverance. It is about living life, giving your best shot - better each day.
