Sharon Rachel is an 11-year-old talented youngster diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA Type 1) because of which her limb movements are very much restricted. Winning several chess tournaments in Chennai, India, Sharon is also a very talented piano and keyboard player. Many a time she finds it difficult to sit for long hours in the normal wheelchair thus making her extensively tired and causing pain. A specialized powered wheelchair, with automated movement, would help her to move independently and give her more confidence in pursuing her skills. The total pricing for the powered wheelchair is $2000 including tax.
